REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

GenS is a platform providing various services to its subscribers through third-party service providers. GenS is building a collaborative ecosystem that invites capable and certified service providers to come together to serve the 60+ members.

GenS Membership Cancellation

  • A subscribed member has the freedom to cancel his/her subscription at any time. He/she must write an email to [email protected] with subject line “Request for Account Deletion”. A 30-day notice is to be provided for any account deletion. Please include your full name, membership number and any other relevant account information to assist us in processing your request.
  • Memberships that have been gifted will not be refunded.
  • On cancellation of the membership to GenS Platform, an individual subscriber is eligible to receive a refund of their Membership fee on Pro-rata basis minus the GST or taxes paid.
  • The refund amount will be calculated as under:
    1. If the cancellation is done without availing any of the services listed on GenS application – pro-rata basis minus the GST or taxes paid.
    2. If the cancellation is done after availing any of the services listed on GenS application:
      • Cancellation within 3 months of subscription period – amount equal to 6 months of subscription minus the GST or taxes paid
      • Cancellation after 3 months of subscription period – amount equal to 50% of the balance period of subscription. E.g – if subscription cancelled in the 4th month, the refund amount would be 8 months divided by 2 = 4 months of subscription would be refunded minus GST or taxes paid.
  • The member needs to provide a reason for the cancellation.
  • The refund shall be credited only to the original mode of payment. The refund will be paid 30/45 days from the receipt of the email from the member.

Cancellation of Services by Service Providers (where payment is made on the GenS platform)

  • A subscribed member can cancel any availed service at any time with a 30-day notice.
  • On cancellation of the availed service, an individual subscriber is eligible to receive a refund of the amount paid on Pro-rata basis minus the GST or taxes paid.
  • The member needs to provide a reason for the cancellation.
  • The refund shall be credited only to the original mode of payment. The refund will be paid 30/45 days from the receipt of the email from the member.

Cancellation of Services by Service Providers (where payment is made directly to the Service Provider)

  • A subscribed member can cancel any availed service at any time with a 30-day notice.
  • Cancellation of services where the payment has been made directly to the service provider will be subject to the respective service provider’s terms and conditions and refund policy (As a subscriber you are requested to carefully read the terms and conditions and refund policy of the service provider before availing their services).
  • GenSxty Tribe Pvt. Ltd. is not responsible to ensure refunds by third party partners/service providers.

Cancellation of Participation in Events Booked on GenS

  • A subscribed member is eligible for a full refund less GST and taxes up to 4 times in a year (due to health, medical and social exigencies) provided that the cancellation is received 48 hours before the scheduled event.
  • In case the member has already exercised 4 cancellations during the year, they will not be able to cancel any more events and no refund can be provided.
  • The member needs to provide a reason for the cancellation.
  • The refund shall be credited only to the original mode of payment. The refund will be paid 30/45 days from the date of cancellation by the member.
